Lisa is a senior researcher in the social sciences team. Her interests include urban form and transport, urban and regional development, and the impacts on people and environment.
She has previously worked as a researcher and manager at the University of Otago, most recently at the NZ Centre for Sustainable Cities. She has also held digital communications and project management roles at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade (NZ) and The National Archives (UK).
Lisa's skills include science communication - analysing and translating complex data into clear advice. She has co-edited two books on New Zealand research, Drivers of Urban Change (2015) and Homes People Can Afford (2013), with a third book on resilient urban futures in press.
