Joel is experienced in statistical analysis, experimental design and testing human factors, with a particular focus on auditory stimulus.
Joel has worked for Opus Behavioural Sciences since 2012. Before joining Opus he completed a PhD funded by the UK Ministry of Defence. His thesis investigated the use of auditory stimuli to facilitate motor responses.
Since joining Opus Joel has worked on the future housing and transport needs of the Greater Wellington region, attitudes to billeting after the Canterbury earthquake, and the use of fleet vehicles within Opus New Zealand.
In his spare time Joel likes to ski and practise Aikido.
