Dr Clare Robertson is our senior researcher in the Urban Sciences team. She has a background in research, science communication, policy and emergency response with a PhD in glaciology, a Bachelors in environmental planning and teaching and operational experience in emergency management.

She has previously worked in central government as an advisor in the areas of surveying, geographic place naming and Treaty of Waitangi settlements.

Clare is actively involved in search and rescue and is training a USAR search dog with the NZ USAR Search Dog Association
