Opus as part of the Te Rapa Alliance won the Property Council Award for the best Regional Project Team Award. This award is directed to a team who have demonstrated excellence by developing a project that is outstanding in terms of innovation, design, sustainability, profitability, promotes growth, is inspirational and influences future development.
Opus DaytonKnight won an Award of Excellence at the 2013 Canadian Consulting Engineering Awards Gala. It was honoured in the Environmental Remediation category for its work on the Harvest Energy Garden in Richmond, B.C.
The Stronger Christchurch Infrastructure Rebuild Team (SCIRT) won an award at the Champion Canterbury Business Awards. The Awards recognise excellence, passion and success in the contribution businesses make to the vitality of the Canterbury region. The Champion Infrastructure Award recognises smart service providers of infrastructure or utilities in helping the community to thrive and prosper, and some of the criteria include their point of difference and people management.

Opus was part of teams that won at the ACENZ Innovate Awards
Opus won the Project Management Team of the Year award at the 2013 Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) Awards. The Award recognises the Te Rapa Alliance, made up of Opus, the NZTA and Fulton Hogan, for their work on the Te Rapa section of the 120km Waikato Expressway.
The Auckland Landscape Architecture team received a Distinction Award for their excellent work on NZTA's Onewa Interchange at the NZILA Resene Pride of Place Landscape Architecture Awards. The landscape design dealt sustainably with the challenging estuarine conditions, and enhanced the existing environment for local bird and plant life and road users.
Jack Lee, Vice President of Operations in North Vancouver, was inducted as a Fellow of Engineers Canada at an Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of British Columbia (APEGBC) Awards ceremony.

The Auckland Motorway Alliance (AMA) won a New Zealand Transport Agency 'Going the Extra Mile' Award recognising their dedication to customer care. The AMA was recognised in the Innovations in Customer Care for Maintenance category.
