Opus International Consultants (Opus) was presented with the Best Public Service Architecture Asia Pacific Award at the prestigious Asia Pacific Property Awards 2012 held on April 27 in Kuala Lumpar.

Opus received the esteemed recognition for the Wilson Special Needs School in Auckland, New Zealand. Lead Design Architect for the Wilson School, Eqo Leung accepted the award at the presentation ceremony which was attended by Asia Pacific’s leading industry players.

The Wilson School is New Zealand's first purpose built Special Needs School and provides educational care for children with severe mental and physical disability. The award-winning project was the recipient of two top awards in New Zealand including the New Zealand Architecture Medal, the most prestigious architecture award in New Zealand. 

The state-of-the-art school has become a showcase school for the Ministry of Education and visiting international educationists. Opus also received the Public Service Architecture New Zealand (5 star) Award earlier.

The Asia Pacific Property Awards are part of the long established International Property Awards and its awards winners’ logo is recognised as a symbol of excellence throughout the global industry.
