Opus' building structures team snapped up another award for their work on Trimble Navigation Ltd's offices in the NZ Wood awards.
Opus International Consultants (Opus) has reported a robust result for the first six months of 2015. In the half-year ended 30 June 2015, earnings before interest and tax (EBIT) increased by 40% to $20.0m, and net profit after tax (NPAT) increased by 60% to $15.9m.
Opus Architecture has won an architecture award (Public Architecture category) at the Auckland NZIA Branch Awards for the Panmure Interchange project. Panmure's new $17.5m transport interchange is the gateway to a high frequency busway and is a significant step towards better transport connections for Auckland’s eastern suburbs.
Opus International Consultants (Opus) has been confirmed as an ACC Workplace Safety Award finalist for their health and safety practices and programmes at the Wellington Gold Awards. The finalists were announced on Thursday 28 May.
“We are delighted to be a finalist in the Gold Awards in recognition of our health and safety programme,” said Opus Managing Director and Chief Executive, Dr David Prentice. “We realise that there is no quick fix when it comes to managing health and safety, and therefore our approach is all-encompassing as we continually strive to reach our goal of zero harm.”
Opus Architecture won two architecture awards at the Canterbury NZIA Branch Awards for the Kidsfirst Diamond Harbour and Brooklands Lagoon Public Toilet projects.
Opus' building structures team won a Commendation in the ‘Commercial and Retail Category' for the Trimble's Offices at the IStructE Structural Engineering Awards ceremony held in London.
