1. What is your role at Opus?
I am currently an Associate Director within the London Office and lead the Highway and Transportation Team.

2. What do you enjoy the most in your current role?
I enjoy the variety. With transport planning no two jobs are the same. Larger projects require good project management and technical ability, whilst the smaller jobs can be equally difficult and good negotiation skills are necessary.

3. What has been your biggest career achievement?
There are several things. Completing my MSc alongside my full time job, being the lead on one of the biggest projects in London, and being accepted onto the London Chamber of Commerce and Industry’s Property and Construction Committee. But my biggest achievement is being part of re-establishing the London office which is a great place to work

4. Outside of Opus, what do you like to do in your spare time?
I love theatre and dancing. I volunteered as a choreographer for North Avon Youth Dance and was lucky enough to dance in the London 2012 Olympics opening ceremony.

5. What advice would you give to people beginning their career?
There is no such as a bad experience, it’s all just experience. Sometimes they may seem bad but they just help focus you and show you the positives in the future.
